Charles R. “Rod” Marvin, Jr. Joins Cohen Mohr

Cohen Mohr LLP is pleased to announce that Charles R. “Rod” Marvin, Jr., a seasoned government contracts litigator and business counselor, has joined the firm as a partner. Rod brings decades of experience advising and representing clients in their business relationships with the federal government or with government contractors at different tiers, including those relationships involving research and development projects. As a litigator, Rod has represented clients in bid protests at the GAO and before the US Court of Federal Claims, appealed contract terminations and claims before agency boards of contract appeals and the US Court of Federal Claims, and in prime-sub disputes litigated in US District Courts across the country. As a business counselor, in addition to his broad experience in government procurement issues generally, Rod has the deep expertise necessary to help businesses manage effectively and proactively the complex legal landscape encountered when intellectual property is or might be used in, or delivered to the government in the performance of a government grant, cooperative agreement, procurement contract or Other Transaction Agreement at any tier.
